The best part about these overnight oats? They’re totally customizable—mix and match your favorite add-ins so you never get bored of your breakfast. We used a vanilla-flavored protein in this recipe, but go ahead and add whatever flavor you’d like. For instance, if you’re adding chocolate protein powder, pair it with fresh raspberries and cacao. The possibilities are endless!
Overnight oats are a quick make-ahead solution to mornings on the go. Throughout the night, the oats soak up any liquid in the jar, so don’t be alarmed if the mixture seems too watery when you first mix it together! Great things take time, and so does this breakfast. Make a few so you’re ready for the week ahead; these oats can be kept in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Vanilla Protein Overnight Oats
Servings: Makes 4
Ingredients
2 c. old fashioned oats
3 c. milk of your choice (we’re using almond)
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
Optional add-ins:
Fresh berries
Nut butters
Sliced banana
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Dash of vanilla extract
Chia seeds
Pineapple chunks
Directions
Combine ingredients in a bowl, then divide into four jars or other containers with a lid.
Add lids, then place jars in the refrigerator overnight; enjoy in the morning!
