Crisp apple slices provide a refreshing and healthy bite, while the caramel dip enhances your intake with essential grams of muscle-building protein. Powdered peanut butter provides healthy fats as well as flavor, and a scoop of vanilla (or unflavored) protein powder packs a punch by adding even more grams of protein.
Recipe: Peanut Butter Caramel Apple Protein Dip
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients
- 1 medium apple, sliced
- 1/2 cup plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/3 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp PB2 or other powdered peanut butter
- 2 tbsp caramel syrup
Directions
- Wash an apple under running water.
- Carefully cut the apple into slices or wedges.
- In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, protein powder, peanut butter powder and caramel syrup. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Arrange the apple slices on a plate.
- Serve with the peanut butter caramel apple dip and enjoy!
