Owner of Anytime Fitness, Caughlin Ranch and Galena, Suzanne is a N.A.S.M Certified Personal Trainer. She is also accredited with I.D.E.A. and A.F.A.A. She has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years with an extensive background in Ballet. She is particularly enthusiastic about helping special interest groups including seniors and sports specific training for children with a focus on agility, speed, balance and proper form. She is a strong believer in the benefits of functional fitness and is excited to bring a “State of the Art” fitness facility with only the best of trainers and teachers to Reno.
I have been a fitness enthusiast for the majority of my life. Staying active in any way, shape or form is the 'name of the game' for me, and I believe physical activity is nature's best remedy for nearly all ailments. I have been involved in many sports: basketball, football, baseball, soccer and almost any outdoor sport you can think of. Throughout my life, I have been a basketball coach/trainer, professional whitewater kayaker, personal/senior/group fitness/sports trainer, and many others. I am dedicated to helping others achieve their goals, and finding happiness in a healthy lifestyle.
Originally from Montana I have live all over the country from Connecticut to California and now Reno. Played basketball from before I could remember until my first year of college then joined the US Navy in 2010. I was a fitness instructor for three years in the Navy and have an N.A.S.M Personal Training Qualification. Having just got an Associates of Science degree I spend all of my time training and going to school to get a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. My passion is to help people through fitness to accomplish goals that make them healthier and happier.
I have been a practitioner of Yoga since 1997 and meditation since 1992. I'm certified Yoga and Meditation Therapist through Phoenix Rising and Yogafit accredited schools and have been teaching in the Truckee Meadows since 2003. I'm a mother of four young children, I believe a strong yoga practice is key to maintaining strength, flexibility and balance for the mind, body and spirit and I'm dedicated to helping others cultivate vibrant health and overall wellbeing.
Zandy was raised in Los Angeles and was a racquetball athlete from the start. Today, she is a certified instructor in both SPINNING AND RIPPED (a High Intensity Fitness Program). Her enthusiasm and energy make for a challenging and fast-pased cycling class to the soundtrack of inspiring and motivational music. Zandy relies on the hottest hip-hop, dance, alternative or classic rock music to help motivate the class through her rigourous workout. Whether you're looking for an early AM, evening, or weekend workout, Zandy's class is one you won't want to miss. When she's not spinning, Zandy is a website designer/programmer. She also loves to spend all her free time with her husband and daughter.
