Heather is our Member Experience Manager. After losing over 50 pounds on her own, Heather decided to make fitness her life so she could share her success with others. She specializes in strength and conditioning, muscle development, functional movement training, and weight management. Heather holds the following certifications: -ACE Personal Trainer -ACE Health Coach -ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist -ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist -Vata Asana Aerial Hammock Yoga Teacher -Crossfit Level 1 Trainer Everyone who joins gets a free session with Heather! Maura is our manager and trainer. She specializes in general fitness/wellness, strength training, race training, weight management, and women's fitness. She instructs classes here and trains clients. Being active her whole life and being a college athlete is what made her realize that fitness was something she needed in her professional life as well, which is why she got certified. Maura is AAAI-ISSA certified and American College of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. She graduated from Albright College with a BA in English and a BA in Communication.
Alyse is a PA State Certified Gym Teacher who is charge of our Little Warrior class.
Cat is our Summer Indoor Cycling Instructor. She is a Mad Dogg Certified Spinning Instructor who has loved indoor cycling since her 1st class 4 years ago. Her goal is for you to get in a good, sweat-pouring work-out that flies by because of the great music and fun atmosphere. She is obsessed with music so expect an eclectic mix in her classes including techno, mash-ups, pop, rock, oldies and even some country during cool-downs! She also enjoys running races, rowing, hot yoga, and any other new workouts!
Elissa Wiernicki currently attends West Chester University with plans to graduate in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. After graduation she hopes to achieve a masters in advertising. In the past she has been involved in athletics as well. She played basketball and softball growing up, but her true passion was competitive cheerleading. In high school her varsity team was given a bid to the UCA National Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, FL. Her team placed 7th in the nation in their division. After accomplishing that she finished her high school career as captain of the varsity squad and worked on gymnastics and compiling competitive routines. Now she tries to maintain a fit lifestyle by working out right here at Anytime Fitness in Norristown!! Stop by and welcome Elissa next time you are in the club!
Karen has been involved in physical fitness for many years. As an avid athlete, Karen set a goal to complete a triathlon and in 2001 completed her first Olympic distance triathlon and has been hooked ever since. She recently completed her first full Ironman in Cozumel, Mexico. She is certified through the AAAI and ISMA PT Certifications, Total Body Strength Conditioning, Cycling Certification, Kickboxing Certification, Phase I & II Mat Pilates Certification, Kids Fitness, and Strength Conditioning and Weight Training Consultant Certification.
Katy Bauer discovered yoga for herself in 2010 and has been practicing regularly ever since. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2012 at Dana Hot Yoga in Bala Cynwyd PA and is also trained in kids' yoga. She loves the positive impacts that yoga has had on her life both mentally and physically, and wants to share that with others! Katy is teaching our morning yoga and subbing for all other Yoga classes.
Corey is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and a Fitness Nutrition Certified. His Areas of expertise are Experienced Online Diet Coach, Weight Management, Building mind and bodies, Competition Preparation (bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini, Men’s and Women’s Physique) and Sports Athletic Training. Corey has been competing in bodybuilding competitions for the last several years. His personal goals are to: • Achieve muscle conditioning • Maximized Fat Loss • Muscle Strength • Cardiovascular Health • Enhance overall fitness knowledge Corey is a big guy with a big heart!
Emily, born and raised in Norristown found her true passion in fitness after losing 75 pounds naturally in one year. In doing so, Emily truly expanded her knowledge on health, fitness and nutrition. With multiple sources of knowledge and tons of research, Emily has not only found ways to transform her clients lives mentally and physically, but to also educate them on their body, how it works, and how it should be fueled. With her “Anything is possible with hard work and dedication” attitude, Emily has transformed her own life and is here to help others do the same! Being a life long athlete, Emily uses many different types of training tactics with her clients such as high intensity interval training, Boxing and MMA, weight training, and body weight concentration to always keep her clients guessing and coming back for another workout. Emily uses her story and encouraging spirit to motive clients of all levels of fitness and backgrounds.
Mark was born in Portland, Oregon and spent most of his life on the West Coast. After years of working as a manager in the building industry, Mark reoriented his career and decided to focus on his passion, fitness.He has always been active and held a healthy lifestyle. He has participated in sprint, Olympic, and half-iron man distance triathlons; mountaineering (rock, snow and ice); swimming; running; weight lifting; and mixed martial arts to name a few. He believes that we are all athletes, just at different levels. As such, he can help anyone improve their current fitness level, regardless of their training experience or physical limitations.
