Jenna Merrow is a U.C. Davis graduate with a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition and is a certified personal trainer through ACE (American Council on Exercise). She has always been fascinated with nutrition and fitness from an early age and started studying and training on her own in high school after being employed at a local gym. Through her studies she has learned the importance of the psychological, neurological, and physical effects of exercising applying them in her training techniques. She finds enjoyment engaging in and creating different ways of working out that are fun but challenging. She also has taught nutrition classes within the community for at risk youth focusing on diabetes prevention and weight control. She has a vast knowledge of personalized diet planning that goes along with individualized training. She is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness and health goals whatever they may be!
Victoria graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biopsychology, and she is certified through ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) as a Personal Trainer. Currently, she is attending CSU East Bay to earn a B.S. in Nursing. Growing up as an athlete, Victoria experienced the positive effects exercise has on the mind and body. Through her education, she learned about the physiological systems that make those effects possible, and the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle. This sparked her passion for preventative medicine. As a nurse she will work to promote healthy habits in her patients, but also believes by working as a personal trainer, she can help others adopt a healthier lifestyle in a more individualized manner.
