Class Descriptions

CYCLE: This class is the indoor cycling workout which has simulated hills, flat roads and drills set to music. All participant levels are welcome.

PILATES: This class is a total body conditioning exercise method combining flexibility, strength & balance to help improve posture and focus on the powerhouse of the body, core strength and conditioning.

DANCE, BATTLE, BUILD: Cardio Dance, Kickboxing and High Intensity Interval Toning using your own body weight. Dance portion only used for recovery. So if you like Boot Camp and Total Body give DBB a try.

TOTAL BODY: Designed to tone, strengthen and stretch all major muscle groups. Intervals of cardio conditioning are used to burn calories.

YOGA: Develop kinesthetic awareness, create a strong core fitness, build strength and endurance as well as workout the kinks and stress from everyday life.

ZUMBA: Latin dancing combining the basics of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and a little Latin Hip Hop to get your heart rate up, burn calories and tone your muscles. Come give our party a try.

SilverSneakers® Classic – This is the basic SilverSneakers® class. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers® ball are used for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit – Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers® ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.

SilverSneakers® CardioFit – Get Up and Go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle. This exercise includes floor work on a mat for those more advanced and would like to do it, so you have the option of using a chair or a mat.

SilverSneakers® YogaStretch and Tai Chi - YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses as well as Tai Chi. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Technology has arrived at our Sixes Road location.  Load up any class on our Mega Video Screen.....Anytime.  Located just 10 minutes from Hickory Flat and Holly Springs!  It's an innovative, automated system that delivers any type of fitness class on demand–24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It’s like having your own fitness instructor on call!

If you can’t make to one of the “LIVE” classes, don’t fret!! Try one of the options on the Fitness On Request System… It’s ready whenever you are. With tons of classes to choose from and 24 hour a day access, you’ll find it hard to find an excuse not to get your workout in.  Get a couple of friends together and come down to the club at midnight (or any other time there is not a “LIVE” class happening) and get a great workout with Fitness On Request!!
